John DeChristopher

John DeChristopher started playing drums at age 11, joined his first band at 13, and soon began playing professionally throughout the Boston area. Working at Wurlitzer Music in Boston, John established invaluable industry connections, and moved to Los Angeles in 1985 to work for Simmons Drums, the beginning of an incredible 30 year career in the Drum Industry. From Simmons, he was recruited by Drum Workshop for the launch of DW Drums in 1987, and in 1989 he was recruited by the Zildjian Company, where he remained for 24 years as Vice President, Artist Relations & Event Marketing Worldwide.
